A ray of sunshine is what we need today... Right?!

And a ray of sunshine is what you'll see in this pretty little stained glass box created with a variety of orange and red stained glass including an iridescent combination of red, orange and white. Each piece of glass is different in color and texture but all blend together in a brilliant sunshine kind of way. The lid of the box is designed to extend beyond the box base forming a natural handle.

The lid is held in place by an invisible hinge and length of decorative chain. The box has clear bevel glass sides and mirror bottom which reflects all light up and through the lid, giving it a wonderful glow. The box measures 3" x 4" x 1.5" and has rubber bumpons on the under side which will hold the box in place and prevent it from scratching your furniture.

Perfect for jewelry or trinkets. A great Mother's Day or birthday gift... or just a gift to brighten someone's day!

All items in my shop are designed and hand crafted in my home studio. If you like the style but would prefer a different color combination, let me know and we can create one together for you!

When it comes to color, my palate is fairly monotone. This box is no exception.

Shades of dark and light teal and turquoise combine with a piece of a triangle bevel to form the lid of this lovely stained glass box. The box measures 3" x 4" x 1.5". The base is mirror and the sides clear bevel allowing light to bounce through the lid. The lid is held in place by an invisible hinge and silver tone chain prevents it from falling backwards. As part of the lid design, the bevel doubles as handle to open the lid. The box is constructed using the copper foil method. The solder lines are left in their natural silvery state and polished to a shine. It has 4 rubber "bumpons" on the base which will protect your furniture. The edges of my glass work are also softened to avoid sharp edges.

As with any of the items in my shop, if you like the style but would prefer a different color combination, let me know and we can work on one together.

Clear corners of beveled glass are connected by clear with orange and turquoise stained glass. This frame can sit vertically or horizontally displaying a photo that measures 4" x 6". The outside dimensions of the frame is 7" x 9".

So have you ever considered knitting with clear yarn? Hmm... not sure clear yarn even exists. Here's a chance to show off your love of knitting with this Stained Glass Yarn Ball Sun Catcher!

A variety of clear texture stained glass combine with actual vintage metal knitting needles in this very unusual sun catcher. The yarn ball is constructed in the copper foil method of stained glass construction. The solder lines are left in their natural silvery tone and polished to a shine. The vintage metal knitting needles are literally cut and soldered right into the piece.

My yarn ball stained glass was featured on Marly Bird's Blog post, Gifts for Knitters and Crocheters - Stocking Stuffers 2019! Click here to check it out!

The sun catcher measures about 4.5" x 11"... the yarn ball itself measures about 4.5" across. I would suggest hanging from a nail or hook rather than a suction cup as they tend to give way in the warm sunlight.

All items in my shop are designed and created in my home workshop located in Chalfont, PA. As with any item, if you like the style but would rather see it in other colors, let me know and we can create on just for you!

Happy Knitting!

Play Tic-Tac-Toe before lighting the Hanukkah candles each night of the holiday with this new and unusual stained glass menorah. Each candle fits and individual X or O with the Shamash candle (the one used to light all other candles) both X and O!

A wonderful family game to celebrate the holiday!

Each of the eight separate pieces measures 2" x 2" x 1" tall plus the candle cup. The ninth piece, the shamash, measures 2" x 2" x 2" tall plus the candle cup. The candle cup is screwed onto the base and held in place on the underside. They are removable if you would prefer to remove them before cleaning but it's not necessary.

This menorah, as with all of my menorahs, is meant to be used. After the holiday, soak each piece in hot water and peal off the larger pieces of wax. Then take a soft cloth and rub the wax residue into the metal lines. The wax will help to shine the metal and protect it from oxidation.

Created in the copper foil method of stained glass construction, the solder lines are left in their natural silvery state and polished to a shine.

As with any item in my shop, if you like the style but would prefer a different color or color combination, let me know and we can work on one together for you. This item has been designed and hand crafted in my home studio in Chalfont, PA
