My fascination with the art of stained glass in the copper foil method begin close to 40 years ago. While working at a local craft store, I learned the basics in order to intelligently sell supplies.
Beyond those few lessons, I consider myself a self-taught glass artist. I’m inspired by nature, geometry and Judaica, often pushing boundaries & ignoring the “rules.” Much of my work consists of functional gift items such as jewelry boxes, menorahs & mezuzahs. I enjoy mixing a variety of clear texture glass with clear bevels and found objects to create interesting and abstract items.
Also an avid knitter, I've combined knit wire elements with the art of stained glass as well as accessories that knitter’s might find interesting.
